Super Sunday!
Hunter's team won their first football game today 31-0!! The kids were so excited and the parents were probably more excited for them! As a mother, I have the right to brag, so here goes... On the second play, Hunter broke through the line and took the hand off from the opposing quarterback's hands. It was amazing! Just thinking about gets me teary eyed because as soon the play was over he looked in the stands for me and gave me a thumbs up. I'm sure he has a HUGE smile, but all I could see was helmet. It was funny because other parents were giving me high fives and I didn't do anything. Well I guess I did give birth to the 10lb. turkey, so maybe I deserve a high five just for that. :) It was a fun day for all of us. That win really helped boost their confidence because their record was 0-5. After the game the team went and ate at Red Robin. If you haven't been there, I highly recommend it. Yummy!!! I guess it's now time to get back to reality and continue doing homework.... Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!!!

Saturday, October 4
Hunter lost his football game by a touchdown with 45 seconds left. Triple reverse... what is that anyway? I always ask him if he had fun, because that's the main thing, and so far it's been a yes. So that is good. Ok so I bought a mac on Thursday, and have wanted to throw it in the trash at least once a day! Will it get easier to figure this little contraption out? It has a lot of programs that looked really neat when the salesman was showing me, but now I can't figure out how to use them. I heard that once I get used to it I will love it, but for someone that only has time to sleep about 4 hours a night, I don't have time to be frustrated! Control this, and option that.... my head is hurting just thinking about it. Any suggestion? :0

Friday, October 3
I am so glad that it is the weekend!! Tomorrow is my 11 year wedding anniversary! It seems wierd to think that I have been married that long. My husband Derek and I have some wild plans. First our oldest son, Hunter has a football game in Topeka at 10:00. Then Derek, me, and both boys are going to the KSU football game. In the middle of that my youngest son, Tanner has a birthday party to go to, so we will leave to go to that, and leave daddy and Hunter to spend some quality time together. Here comes the best part of all, dinner!!! Every year on our anniversary we go to Bob's Diner. Here's the story behind that... One year when Hunter was 3, we were going out to dinner for our anniversary and Derek and I told him he could pick the restaurant. He picked Bob's, and we have went there every year since. We LOVE it! I'm not thrilled about all the smoke, but the kids enjoy it and that's all that matters!
